Wrong Number

The other night my mother-in-law got a text from a number she didn't recognize. While she was busy guffawing, Jason and I handled the response.

Wrong number

Let this be a lesson to all... Double check the number forever and always! I do this often seeing as my husband and my boss have have the same first initial. My greatest fear is that one day, I'll forget to double check...

P.S. We never did hear back from my mother-in-law's secret admirer. What a shame.

  1. That photo you sent is brilliant! Silly person, I bet they weren't expecting that response.

  2. I'm super paranoid about this. Probably because I once accidentally sent the message, "I can't wait for our date later, sweet-ass," to the mother of a girl I tutored instead of my husband.

Fortunately, when she called me immediately after, she couldn't stop laughing. Glad I'm keeping the magic alive in my marriage, right?

  4. This has happened to me too! Except it was woman... showing her BOOBS! Said, "well, how do they look?" (apparently she had just had surgery on them) and I responded and she was so embarassed and thought she sent it to her husband. I'm still confused... Don't you have your husbands phone number IN your phone? As a contact? Odd...

  5. Hahaha! I messaged my mom while she was in hospital: What should I bring? Snacks? Magazines? Clothes? and then I got a reply from a strange number saying: I'm good with the clothes, but bring snacks! Only then did I realise I messaged the wrong number, luckily the stranger had a good sense of humor.

  6. My greatest fear is that I'll accidentally send a naughty text message meant for my husband to like...my dad.
